Aplix Corporation is pleased to announce that its industry-standard, embedded Java platform, JBlend™, now supports Symbian OS for use in next generation mobile phones. Aplix is contributing towards the development of next generation specifications and profiles like MIDP 2.0, while at the same time enabling JBlend™ support for new vendor-specific extensions like those offered by Sprint PCS. By selecting JBlend™ , vendors will help future-proof their solutions so that they not only meet today's specifications, but will enable the support for the Industry specifications and extensions currently under development.
