Java to be used for embedded programming
JBlend™ [nano] is an embedded execution environment newly developed by Aplix for microcontrollers. It brings an ideal environment to microcontrollers, one that is object-oriented, does not require memory management, and is platform independent. The features essential to embedded development, such as I/O port access and interrupt support, as well as graphics libraries, are all provided as class libraries. This allows Java to be used for all kinds of programming from hardware control to GUI implementation. Embedded program development enters a new era with JBlend [nano].
